I can just see you with the parasol on those stairs... blushing when any of the gentlemen whom may have occupied those wonderfully tiled facilities pass by...! But never mind, you've done the Dick Whittington bit now - it's only a matter of time until they elect you as Lord Mayor, my dear... Then you could have the original mayoral quarters restored to their original sites, and show us where you hang your pendant...!

My wife and I got married there in 2015, it was a beautiful venue.

That site has had many incarnations, i remember it as tennis courts and i did my cycling proficiency up there, then it became an adventure playground then zoo and marineland. Don Robinson was an entrepreneur had a lot of drive and really pushed the development of assets for the town. Sadly town council have always lacked vision…. If in doubt do nothing or close things down 😩

I recently watched a brilliant Jim Broadbent film on bbc 2 called The Duke and a great deal of it is filmed around our Bradford, namely little Germany, and the very court you have shown us and undercliffe cemetery perhaps an idea for a video to visit them and tell the tale of the Duke a true story of a funny and remarkable man
